Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has initiated the SUMMER EBT (SEBT) which gives $120.00 to students who qualify.Unlike the past few years - the qualifications are very specific and not all students qualify.
Only students who are identified as FREE in the current year July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024 are eligible - so even though all our school's students eat for free they do not all qualify for benefits - this is different from other years. Students who are already enrolled in the SNAP program or receive medicare should automatically be enrolled for the SEBT program. Funds are only good for 122 days from when they are issued and then they are gone. Funds will be distributed by July 31, 2024 and everyone does not get them on the same day. Please understand not all benefits are being issued at the same time.
